Enrollment limited to 25 students per section Successful policy and management professionals constantly use writing to inform, persuade and motivate other professionals and, specifically, to gain acceptance of ideas and decisions, many that lead to contracts, grants, and promotions. This course develops a student's ability to write effectively for professional audiences. The course is rhetorical in its approach: It is taught in the context of problem solving and critical thinking and it analyzes organizational problems based on the interrelationships of audience, purpose, form, social/organizational context and strategic thinking.
