Fall or Spring Healthy economies in many way resemble healthy people ¿ they are alive and vibrant, growing and adjusting in response to changing circumstances ¿ and what fuels economic growth and innovation are ideas. This course explores the role of ideas in the modern economy. Topics include: models of economic growth, economic efficiency and development, innovation and human capital, intellectual property and public policy issues. (Lecture, 3 hours)
