Public Messaging: The Politics Behind Meaning In his recent book, Socially and Politically Driven Graphics, Milton Glaser states: ¿Our ability as citizens to voice our opinions is not only our privilege, it is our responsibility.¿ With November¿s election approaching, this is a critical time for everyone to discuss issues and formulate opinions. But as designers, we can use our skills to educate the public and even persuade voting decisions. In collaboration with Brett Yasko (www.brettyasko.com), we will challenge you to reconcile both sides of relevant social, cultural and economic issues. We will then work with you to get these issues out into the public in bold, thought-provoking and persuasive ways.
